The Metropolitian HallOpen according to performance and event times

1. Closed on Maintenance Day during the Spring Festival.

2. Applications for the slots from January to June of the following year are open from January each year; applications for the show from July to December of the following year are opened from July each year.

3. The Metropolitian Hall hosts and co-organizers provide free tickets for people with disabilities for a total of 12 seats, and each person is limited to 2 performances per month. If you request tickets twice in the same month and fail to show up, your qualification to receive tickets in the following month will be cancelled. For details, please refer to our Arts Express Service Guide.

1. Enrollment is open every year in spring (approximately January registration, classes from March to June) and autumn (approximately registration in July, classes from September to December).

2. The registration method is online: (1) Go to the homepage of our website to link to the " Art Research Class and Art and Cultural Activities Platform ".  (2) If you are not a registered member, please become a member first.  (3) Member login account (self-created) and password (self-set 6-10 alphanumeric characters).  (4) Select your class location ( Arts Building ). There are registration buttons on the course list page and course introduction details page. Select the course you want to register for and click the "Register" button to enter the registration process.     (5) Confirm whether the registered course information and basic personal information are correct. After confirming that the information is correct, enter the verification code and click the "Confirm Registration" button.     (6) After confirmation, the system will display the registration result as "correct".     (7) Print the payment slip and pay immediately.     (8) The registration process cannot be completed until the payment is completed. Please keep your receipt; if you fail to pay within the time limit, the system will cancel your registration qualification.

8F Puppet Theater: can accommodate 100-120 seats, no fixed seats; the configuration and number of disabled seats (wheelchair seats) can be planned and arranged according to the needs of the program.

Ninth Floor Theater: The total number of seats is 506, including 6 seats for people with disabilities (wheelchair seats) and 6 seats for people with disabilities accompanying them.

It is mainly used for artistic performances (priority will be given to those who handle traditional operas and related innovative activities).

It is an exquisite and professional performance space, equipped with a stage, a green room and 240 auditoria. It holds various professional performances such as drama, dance, music and so on, allowing the public to experience a small but exquisite artistic feast up close.

1FTheater Hall
The public art designed by Mr. Lin Yizhong and sculpted by Mr. Zhang Keyu is erected in the lobby on the first floor. It is called "WenShan Opera Forest" and won the first Public Art Best Education Promotion Award of the Council for Cultural Affairs. The work is carved from Taiwan's native cypress wood into various types of cute animals, forming the image of a fairy tale forest, thereby highlighting WenShan's lush forests and cultural gathering features.
2FParent-child picture book reading space
The curved wooden bookcase full of rhythm gives people a feeling of comfort and softness. Various wonderful picture books from home and abroad are neatly arranged in each bookcase. The colorful pictures and vivid words tell different stories, allowing parents and children to have fun together. In the interaction of storytelling, read together warmly.
3Fexhibition space
In order to enhance the diversified use of space in WenShan Theater and provide the public with a richer tour, an exhibition space has been specially planned on the third and fourth floors. Since its opening, a number of exhibitions have been held and have been well received; the current exhibition "Magic Forest" ─WenShan Theater Workshop" drama exhibition.
5Fadministrative office
The administrative office is located here. In addition to handling various administrative affairs, it also accepts registrations for promotional activities.
6~9Frehearsal hall
It is a professional rehearsal space with a height of two floors, equipped with professional dance floors and mirrors. The spacious and bright space is suitable for rehearsals of various dramas, dances and other performance activities. It provides rehearsals for professional performance teams. Application is required for use.
10~12Frehearsal room
It is a small rehearsal space that mainly handles various art promotion activities and courses, and conducts cooperative projects with professional art teams.

Focusing on artistic and cultural performances (closed during the Spring Festival and maintenance days), we will coordinate with the office hours of the city government building on weekdays

Situated on the second floor of Taipei City Hall, the venue was previously known as Taipei City Hall Auditorium before being renamed Family Theater on September 21, 1991. It holds the distinction of being Taiwan's first parent-child theater, with a seating capacity of 903 in a 1970 square meter area. Starting from January 1997, TAPO has been responsible for the theater's operation and management in alignment with the city government's policies. This includes  the schedule management, and other related matters.
